Peter Botlton has ‘stepped up to the plate’ to organise the 2019 reunion at the Queens Hotel, Leeds, which is conveniently located next to Leeds railway station. He has provisionally booked 30 bedrooms on an allocation basis for weekend, 11th -13th October 2019, which means guests can call and book their bedrooms through the hotel’s reservations department on 0113 243 1323. They will be required to pay a deposit of £50.00 per room which is non-refundable and non- transferable. This will be reviewed 6 weeks prior to the event and so there is plenty of time to book and you may wish to book later this year when your personal circumstances are better known. When you do book don’t forget to mention that it is for the 89th Entry RAF reunion to get the preferential rates and to allow Peter to track numbers.
You may wish to travel there by train rather than take your car. There is a good transport system from Leeds station to other places of interest such as York and of course there is the opportunity to look around Leeds city centre. If you decide to take your car, the hotel will charge £15.95 per night. For this discount rate, phone Rosie Miles, the events coordinator, on 0113 3917231. The is also a public car park near the hotel which is cheaper.
Bed and breakfast rate:
Sole occupancy – £100.00 per person per night.
Double occupancy – £112.00 per room per night.
Dinner package on the Saturday evening at £32 per person.
